2004 Is300 Maint Questions

Does anyone know how to reset the maint reqd light in a 2004 Lexus IS300? I change my own oil and need to know the reset procedure for this dash light. Also, is there a way of turning the daytime running lights off? Thanks for the help.

On the light stalk, turn the switch to DRL off (if it is like my ES). In this position, mind you, the Auto function is disabled and you will have to remember to turn the headlights on at dusk.

The reset procedure (as well as the light positions) should be in your owners manual. Have you read that.

Like I always say, "when in doubt, read the destructions".

I HAD THAT PROBLEM TOO BUT ONLY MINE IS 2001 I DISCONECTED THE BATT FOR 3 MIN THEN RECONNECTED AND DROVE IT THE LIGHTS ALL WENT OFF

i also have a 2004 is300 ....i recently changed my oil and i have no idea how to turn off that maint light either... i read the manual booklet but didn't see anything about it....

i even took off the batt but the ligjt went back on after i drove for a min...anyone out there who has 2004 is300 kno how to turn it off beside taking it back to the dealership?
