pj8708 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Australia TMG ,Toyota Motor Group, indicates a dual clutch manual trans mission to be available within the next few years on the IS F and the RC. The information spells out the details and hoops to go through in order to make this option available. This is excellent news for so many members who for years have begged Lexus for a manual tranny in the IS and GS. With all of the other changes including power plant and suspension, these puppies ought to be a real B..A.. to drive.!! LEX-SV Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 So what am I missing here?... Is this a manual in traditional sense? Or will it have paddle shifters only and have no clutch pedal (not that it wouldn't be fun)?
13IS250C Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I'm afraid manual trannies aren't much in demand now. People are too busy playing with their phones. You rarely see one. I know I have had my last one with my Z car. I have lost my skills. I used to be able to out shift anybody. :-(
