2008 Lexus Rx Tail Light Cover Replacement Cost

I'm wondering if anyone has an idea how much it costs to replace a
broken tail light on a 2008 350 RX. Not the lightbulb, but the red
plastic part. I'm told the entire bumper might have to be replaced, but I
wonder if that's actually the case. It was estimated at $650. Thanks

The lens on the bumper lamp/reflector is not available separately. The entire unit is $80.07 at http://lexus.sewellparts.com if you register with a Lexus forum member name. You might need a few other minor parts if they can't be salvaged from the damaged lamp unit.

$650 sounds like a bargain if that includes the entire repair.

I have the same problem. Were you able to resolve your tail light issue and if so how? Does the bumper need to be removed in order to replace the lens?
