Obdii Scanner Will Not Work With My 01 Rx300

Just bought a brand new OBDII scanner and it will not communicate with my RX300. It is a D900 and is made by Autel, I believe. Any ideas? The software in the scanner is new as of 2013. And the scanner works fine on my wife's '02 Saturn.

No one?? I tried the unit on another '01 RX300 and no luck. Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced scanner that is known to work on 2001 RX's??

I suppose you could go to an auto parts store such as an Autozone and make them prove to you that their scanners work on your RX.

Autozone's scanner works, but I'd rather buy a different one. I sold mine to a friend. It works fine on his car.

And I ended up buying AutoZone's. Works well enough.
