94 Sc400 Nexus 7 Tablet Installed...

I just finished my install on my sc. My OEM headunit sounded bad so tried a alpine touchscreen that was ok. But the sound from my tablet is so clean and now having android in my car is the best.

Thanks! The install was easy because the sc radio opening was perfect for a 7" tablet. My signal from the nexus 7 goes into a DAC to my amps. And for window shoppers I used my OEM radio taken apart an shaved down to cover my nexus.

Haha..thats cool. So the original face just sits on it ? Ive been wanting to do something like this but have been undecided in what tablet..i hope to set it all up so i can use my laptop and tablet togeather to tune.. Anywho nice one..

Lol no my faceplate has small velcro on each corner. One of the sweet things about it I have a usb hub that I plugged in a portable 320gb hd in my glovebox. best of luck with your setup if you need help you know where to find me. :)

Sorry to bump an old subject but this is a great idea i've been thinking about for a long time.. Does anyone know of a newer tablet that will fit this space? Also I was wondering if anyone had reached out to the company that does the screens for the climate control to see if they might sell the programming that runs the AC? Hell I don't even know if that is a possibility. I just would like to try and fill this space completely with one screen (similar to the Tesla) and this would be the only option I can come up with..
