Lexus2004 Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 2nd disappointment with the salesperson that sold me my 2011 RX 350 in November 2012 from our local Lexus dealership. My husband and I was told when I purchased the RX 350, by the salesperson, that the car used regular gas. Yesterday I was informed by the gas station attendent, who was pumping my gas, that the gas cap read to use premium gas. Do I have to use premium gas? lenore Posted March 16, 2013 Share Posted March 16, 2013 You can use regular, but if you notice pinging from the engine switch back...Performance will also decrease, this is a subject discussed many times on these forums...Sales people will tell you anything to make a sale...
