Bulb Replacement On Console To Indicate Gear-Park,drive Etc.

02 RX 300 need instructions on how to remove cover on console where the gear selector is located.

I need to change the bulb that lights up P,R,N,D, does not light up. Does anyone have experience with this issue?

if you remove the center console trim ,it just pulls off, the one that surounds the shifter and radio you can accses your shifter , not sure how to get to the bulbs.

The only Toyota vehicle I've replaced the shift indicator bulb on is a Camry but I suspect the routine would be similar. On the Camry I had to slide the shift indicator assembly up the gear shift shaft after removing a few screws. Not fun. Bulb was still difficult to replace. The attached diagram shows the bulb in your RX.
