Proud New Owner Of An Rx300

Greetings all! I just picked up a 2000 RX300 in Jade Green Opal ( I think that's what it's called..)

Anyway, it's in fantastic condition and was very well maintained. I just turned 142K on the ODO, but it really drives like it has 42K on it. I went to the dealership today and had them print out all the maintenance records that had been done from day one. I am amazed at the money that was thrown at this car. The previous owner took it in for every little thing...

A short list of major work done in the last few years;

  • Timing Belt and all the ancillaries
  • New rotors and pads all the way around
  • Transmission flushed
  • Transfer case and diff flushed
  • new tires
  • Valve cover gaskets and cam seals
  • New Iridium Plugs
  • New battery
  • Rear main seal changed 2 years ago

And the list goes on......

I have a friend who is a dealer and has a small corner lot, and he and I went to the auto auction to find an RX. After a few weeks of hunting, I finally found "The One":

I paid a whole 5,000 dollars for it. I honestly don't have to do anything. Even the oil has been just done, as the dealership did an LOF when they took it in trade....

I could not be happier...

Here are some shots from the day at the auction...post-147179-0-42784900-1360976390_thumb.post-147179-0-43041000-1360976470_thumb.post-147179-0-76864800-1360976493_thumb.post-147179-0-75605400-1360976516_thumb.
