silvermate
have you checked your PS fluid?? you might want to give that a look and see if its low in the resevoir. its something simple i know, but wouldn't hurt to check and go from there. silvermate
If you do a search(at the botton of the page) in this forum you will find a ton of information on power steering problems, as they are very common problems with the LS's just type in power steering in the search bracket. good luck

SKperformance
You may have gotten dirty stuck in the solenoid causing it to not move properly to adjust the amount of assist.
Jden
this might be a dumb question but, how do you clean it? are you talking about the valve that the vac. hoses connect to?
SKperformance
I don;t think it uses vacume .Atleast on mine it is controlled by a electric solenoid which opens and closes to adjust the pressure. To clean just remove the valve with a screw behind it and wipe down and clean its cavity with brake cleans reinstall with a new gasket if needed and your done.
