Rx400H Security Light Stay On

I had to recently change the battery in my 2007 RX400h and now the security light flashes when the car is not locked. Is this normal? I don't remember seeing this before I changed the battery.

I dont know if it is not correct, but mine does the same thing....Sometimes we overthink things...The flashing light is the same on mine unlocked...

Perfectly normal.

Think about it; doesn't it make sense that you'd want a thief to think that the alarm is active, even when your doors are unlocked?
