buddyseattle
I have a 2008 IS250. It has memory seats and they work fine. I wanted to find out if the seat should retract or slide back when I exit the car? The wheel moves in and up, but the seat doesn't move. Another owner told me my seats should move back at the same time as the wheel. Can any other owners fill me in on this? Thank you!
tex2670
If you have memory seats, then you probably have either the Lux Pkg or Sport Pkg. The steering wheel will tilt up out of the way, but the seat does not slide back.
pj8708
Perfect timing to ask this question, because up until a week ago, I would have answered the same way. However, for the last week Ive been driving a 2013 RX350. And the first time I shut the engine off and unlatched the seatbelt. The seat moved all the way back as well as the steering wheel moving up. Getting out of the car was a breeze!!! I'm tall anyways so this is really a great feature. I assume it is new for 2013 as I have not heard or read of it before. tex2670
I think it's just an RX feature; not the IS.
LEXIRX330
I know the GX has it as well if you can get in the personalized settings in the NAV I think this started in 2010? You can change there Think there three settings full, partial, and off. I always had mine set to move the wheel and seat in my GX. My new RRS has this as well and is a awesome feature.
