Tire Wear

You know with the move to larger rims, seems tire wear has gone down....Probably because of the construction....However some tires are better than others.

Do some reseaarch,

both on www.Consumerreports.org and go to www.tirerack.com.

Both websites have great information and tire rack has thousands of customer reviews.

Look at the mileage rating of any tire you are considering, the higher the better, and look at the manufacterer's warranty for mileage.

I have found that 500 and higher gives you the 50k that you are looking for, watch the other ratings also to see how that tire performs.

My 450h came with Dunlop Grantreks which is an absolute junk tire.

My only dissatisfaction with Lexus is that they did put such a junk tire on a high end vehicle!!
