Door Locking Issues

I just bought a 2003 GS350. Only thing wrong with it is that the doors dont lock unless i use the key in the door. The switch inside makes a clicking sound, so does the key fab, but the door wont lock. The key fab will open the truck, and unlock the doors, but will not lock them. Any Ideas? Thanks

Sounds like you may be leaving your spare, or other, remote key in the car when you are trying to use the remote, or Fob, to lock it. Since it is a new car, new to you, maybe your have a spare that was left in the glove compartment or center console or perhaps the previous owner had a spare hidden in the car.

i have 2 keys, both in the house. I do have the extra "Flat Key" in the car and thats it. No other hidden ones

The key That I am refering to is the electronic key. Perhaps you call it a "clicker."

as far as i know it only has the 2 key fabs, and they are both in the house
