Lexie99
Today I noticed my left turn signal flashes really fast and erratically. Any idea what is causing this? Could it just be a defective bulb or is it something more sinister? The nearest Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and the Toyota dealer in town isn't Lexus-friendly. Any thoughts are appreciated. amf1932
Most likely this is caused by a defective bulb or oxidation in the bulb socket. You'll have to try each socket to find the culprit. :)
SW03ES
9 times out of 10 a fast blinker simply means one of the blinkers, front or back is burned out. The system is designed that if one bulb is burned out it sends all of the power through the relay to the other socket, causing it to blink faster and letting the driver know a bulb is out.
