My Es300 Goes Ka Thunk In The Morning

I have the same problem with my 99 ES300. Back out of a parking place, put car in drive and a slight crunch noise is heard in the first few feet of driving. I wonder if this has something to do with ABS?? Mike -
Today I noticed my left turn signal flashes really fast and erratically. Any idea what is causing this? Could it just be a defective bulb or is it something more sinister? The nearest Lexus dealer is 100 miles away and the Toyota dealer in town isn't Lexus-friendly. Any thoughts are appreciated.
