stevereno31
99 Lexus GS300 with 140,000 miles on it. I'm the second owner, and this week, after going through a pressure car wash, I started hearing what I would call a popping or almost dragging sound. It seems to be coming from the passenger side front tire area, when turning the steering wheel. Doesn't seem to matter if the car is in gear or neutral, and doesn't seem to matter if the brake is applied or not. Thoughts? Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks! lincoln_pack
Could it be an internal plastic panel inside your fender that's been displaced by the pressure...? Then you tire is rubbing against it when you get into a turn... And you get that popping and rubbing sound. Happened on my SC for some reasons... Driver side tho. Hope it helps!
