BI Bob Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 We just got a 2010 IS205 with 15k miles. Runs great but at idle there is a ticking sound around the fuel pump. It could be the pump or a valve (hope not) Please tell me that is not normal. The dealer has said it is normal. thanks
LEX-SV Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 Normal sound (ticking) for direct injection engines. Assuming it's from a Lexus dealership, they should have explained it as that. btw, welcome to LOC, enjoy the new Lexus!
