VIN is a vehicle identification number. it's different for each car, though it labels other things. i'm not sure if it has the color code on there. try your nearest lexus dealer.

I know. I just recently purchased a 93 supra that has been painted is300 solar yellow. I want to get some touch up paint for it but the toyota dealer (lexus dealer is about 100+ miles away) said that I he needed the actual color code or at least the vin number from a solar yellow is300 ... so i'm in search of the color code. I guess I could drive to a lexus dealer to get it (if they would actually give it to me) but I'd rather find it on the internet first without having to drive all the way. There is one (yellow is300) in my town but I have'nt tracked him down as of yet. thanks for the reply
