Nav Screen Stuck On Day Setting

I bought a 2010 RX 350 and after I had it MD inspected the nav screen won't turn to the night option when the head lights go on. I can't find where to change this. I have checked the brightness setting to make sure its' not all the way up and the display setting in the "General Settings" section is set to "Auto".

I have a 2010 ES350 so I can't be sure the nav's are the same. On my system, the setting must be in the "OFF" mode. I would assume that on yours the auto mode would need to be OFF. Worth a try.

Also, headlights must be ON and it actually has to be dark out... Unless light sensor senses darkness it can't go into night mode. <_<

and, as it has been mentioned many times on these forums, the navigation will not go into night mode if the dash lights are set at maximum brightness.
