larrym3711
I have a 2001 GS 430 that has the classic "dash clicking" coming from the center of the dash. It does respond to setting the passenger side to max temperature to stop the clicking...but under dual mode and normal operation...there is an irritating "center of dash" clicking going on. It does stop at times (usually after several minutes). Reading these topics...it appears to be one of : 1) AC directional damper motor, or 2) Servo Motor in dual climate control, or 3) AC solenoid. Other thoughts of others: 1) Clean the Cabin Temp Sensor, 2) problem with air mix servo (mode servo). What is the most likely problem here?? MrDog2000
So it's not the also classic sound that indicates an air bubble in the cooling system? A flush helps that.
Mike813
a friend of mine had a slow electric motor sound when his servo motor was about to go. it was not a "clicking", hope that can eliminate one of the items you have on the list.
