Weird Problem With Steering Wheel Audio Controls...

Hey all,

My 2010 has developed a weird problem, the steering wheel audio controls (phone controls are fine) have developed an intermittent problem, the up-track button makes the track go backwards, and the down-track button does as well, and the mode button stops working. Then sometimes it seems fine. Volume buttons are unaffected as are the buttons on the radio itself...

I'm going to take it in when I can and see whats up...

That's weird. Is it when playing CDs mp3 player or iPod or both? I guarantee when you take it in it will be fine! :)

Are you still trying to use your eight track tapes? LOL... I want to know what you find out after you've taken it in; so far no problems with my system.

My guess is a funky software glitch, not the switch.

Yeah its everything, radio presets, CD tracks, iPod tracks...

Hi Guy,

It might be the copper or brass disc under the stering wheel, try to turn the steering upside down or sideways and give it a try.
