jststrd Posted November 25, 2010 Share Posted November 25, 2010 My 94 ls400 recently lost power and went into a limp mode. was able to get home. This occured 5 minutes after i went to jiffy lube. I checked the oil and all is fine. Check engine light came on and trac light. I am trying to activate the diagnostics and followed the published procedures used a a short wire, paper clip and can't get it into diagnostic mode. steve2006 Posted November 26, 2010 Share Posted November 26, 2010 It looks correct make sure the battery is fully charged, and the throttle is fully closed. I think the OD switch only needs to be pushed in for transmission codes.
