Rear Power Door Manual Opener Problem

I found our that my rear door manual control stopped working on a 2008 RX400. Has anybody come accross the same problem. I first thought that I blew a fuse, however I can still open the trunk using the remote as well as the dash-board push button. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Sounds like the switch on the rear door failed.

Open the glove compartment. On the left edge adjacent to the center dash, there's a "mysterious" switch. Click it.

That's why I specified that I could still open it using the remote as well as the push button on the dashboard. If you turn the "mysterious" button in the glove box, you will completely loose control of the power door.

Sounds like the switch on the rear door failed.

I did already open up the switch and realized that it was changing state as you press but that could mean nothing. I believe that would be the right bet. I will change the switch and see how it goes. Thanks Jim.
