planman67 Posted August 2, 2010 Share Posted August 2, 2010 Hey, I have an 01 RX and the antenna broke off with only about 6 inches left in the shaft. The motor runs when I start the motor and turn it off so I think the motor is still fine. If I take off that top piece and remove the rest of the shaft, can I just replace the antenna and will it rethread itself on the motor? I am 100% sure the entire threading of plastic came out and there is none still in the motor. I really don't want to have to dig into the car to get to the motor. Please help.
