paul c Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 I just purchased some Amsoil engine flush. The instruction states that you should rev the engine for 15 to 20 minutes after adding engine flush. I'm curious to know what should I keep the revs at.
Lexusfreak Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 I would let it idle to operating temperature first, then rev it between 1500 & 2000 RPM for 30 seconds or so a couple of times.......let the oil drain out longer than usual to get all the bad stuff out, you should be fine after that.
SKperformance Posted February 7, 2004 Posted February 7, 2004 i usually go for a quick oput around the block at about 20km 3500 rpm
