lemon Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Long time RX300 owner looking to upgrade to a 2007/8 RH400H. What is the easiest way to tell the diff inbetween the FWD and AWD versions of the RX400H? Sorry for the newbie question. I tried to search Look under the back, between the back wheels. You'll see the MGR (Motor Generator Rear), which is Lexus's fancy name for the rear electric powered differential. You'll notice the cooling fins on the diff, and if you look closely enough, you'll see the drive shafts running to each wheel.
Gryphon Posted April 27, 2010 Posted April 27, 2010 Jeff, assuming that the vehicle has a nav system, I believe that the rear motor will show up on the "Energy Monitor" display. Tom
Jeff92se Posted April 28, 2010 Author Posted April 28, 2010 I figured I could always look under the car for the motor/axles and I could look at the navi for the rear motor indicator. I was just wondering if there were any instrumentation diff with the auto selector or etc? But thanks for the replies.
