Nav's Local Time Is One Hour Off

The clock on my dashboard shows the correct local time (Eastern Time). I have checked Settings-->Clock, and it shows Eastern Time with Daylight Savings On. I assume that nav connects to some remote time server to update the time based on my chosen time zone. But when I set my destination to somewhere 15 minutes away from my current location, the estimate time of arrival shown on the screen is 1 hour 15 minutes! So if the current time is 4:00 pm and the destination is 15 minutes away, the estimated time of arrival is 5:15 pm! Where do I correct the nav's system time?

There is another time setting somewhere in the Nav settings...I don't recall how I did it, but I had the same problem.

Another easy fix is to tap the arrival time on the screen, and it converts to hours/minutes remaining to your destination.

Go to Menu, then Setup, make sure your time zone is correct, then turn off daylight savings time. Remember to turn it back on 3/14/10.

So, I think your issue is that you have DST turned "ON".

Yes, turning DST off appears to have fixed the issue.

But we *ARE* in Daylight Saving Time now (http://www.infoplease.com/spot/daylight1.html) so it should be "ON".

No, we are in "Standard Time" now. Read the first sentence of the Web Page you referenced. Daylight Savings time begins March 14th.
