retdep
I have a 2000 ES with 105,000 miles. the fuel pressure damper was leaking and i replaced it about 3,000 miles ago The damper started leaking today. Any thoughts of what could cause this as im 800 miles from home and dont want stuck.
George_Jetson
Are there any other symptoms? Was the damper replaced with a used or new unit? Is it leaking from the fittings? or the body of the damper? Unless the fuel pressure was too high, it is hard to see many other things that would cause a repeated leak. And if the pressure was too high, you should see other symptoms.
gordonw
Did you replace the two gaskets along with the damper?
retdep
Did you replace the two gaskets along with the damper? The damper was new as were the gaskets. It is leaking from the damper not the fitting.
