I'll attach a diagram for a 95 SC300 showing it but it's not clear to me how to get to it. Maybe it will make sense to you.

Parts.com has it (part number 88880-24020) for $35.26. I've gone through a lot of similar filters on my LS -- I've been thinking of cutting up a furnace filter and replacing the filter material in the little plastic frame. The filter can be cleaned to a certain extent with compressed air or just by shaking or knocking it against something.
