LSIvory Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 The manual says this is adjustable, but provides no instruction. Thanks for any ideas/suggestions/solution! 2003 LS430
Will B. Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Usually these types of things must be programmed at the dealership - for a fee, of course. If you press the "lock doors" button on the remote twice, that will turn off the lights.
1990LS400 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Attached is a complete list of the customizable LPS settings for an 01 LS430 but I think it is the same for all model years of the LS430. You might as well have all the features you want customized at once. Any repair shop with the scanner and program card can do it -- usually at a nominal cost or for free like the indie Lexus repair shop I use on a regular basis did on my 00 LS. I actually like increasing the headlight shutoff delay to the maximum -- makes it nice when parking on dark streets. I also had the interior light shutoff delay increased to the maximum. 2001_LS430_LPS.pdf

1990LS400 Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 1990LS400, You sure are up early this am... Had to make the 30 mile drive to deposit my wife at the airport before 6:45 am this morning ... she's headed someplace much warmer than the 9° F. it was at the airport. Brrrrr! Still taking good care of "my" 90 LS? If I had known it was going last another 6 years, I would have charged you more for it. ;)
LSIvory Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 Dear 1990LS400 Thanks for the insights! LSIvory 2003 LS430 - had it around a month...
LSIvory Posted December 16, 2009 Author Posted December 16, 2009 P.S. Googling the title from the document you shared I was able to find this detailed description of each function and the options available: http://tinyurl.com/ye6qhg2 LSIvory 2003 LS430
