Issues With 9.1 Nav Update

I've been trying to get my Nav system updated from 7/1 to 9.1, but my dealer is telling me that there is a system wide problem with the down load. Anyone else dealt with this issue?

What's the differences between version 9 and version 7? I've got a 2008 LS 460 SWB with Levinson and the Prestigious Society Mod.
