suraja12
i have a 2010 es350 ultra luxury package - my seats are not getting heated - they might just become warm - took it to the dealer today and the technician after testing it - informs that since these vehicles have both heated and cooling they use a blower instead of heating element as in the past and hence the seats do not get heated like other luxury models would greatly appreciate of any inputs

I believe the heating is done using heating elements, not hot air.
mhawkin1
My seats get warm enough for me, but when friends/family ride in my car they sometimes say "Why aren’t your seats hot?" I know in my mother's Suburban the seats get hot in about 20 seconds. My seats get warm gradually and stay - just warm. They dealer said they were operating properly. After a few minutes on "3), I have to turn it down. My complaint is with the cooling of the seats. Even if placed on high, you can barely tell they are on. The blower fan is only used when in the cooling/ventilating position, whereas the heating position uses heating elements to warm the seats. It's true that the seats and seatbacks don't get as hot as some other auto manufacturers seat heaters. In the cooling position, that is also very mild.
