texasalka
Hello everyone! 2 days ago I have purchased a 2007 RX 350.Very excited!!! Here is my first question for today ( I'm sure I'll have more later). I was reading an Owners manual and it shows that the car supposed to come with 2 master keys , valet key,key number plate and flat key. All they gave me was 2 master keys. How important is it to have the key number plate and the flat key? Thanks in advance!
muffalones
It's not important at all. You would probably never use the valet or flat key and a dealer can look up the number from your key number plate if you need it. Congratulations on your new Lexus! 1990LS400
All they gave me was 2 master keys. Ask "they" for the rest of the keys -- the flat key and the two valet keys. Maybe "they" can get them from the previous owner. Although I've used the flat key only a couple of times in 19+ years of Lexus ownership, it sure was nice to have when I needed it. It's a little bulky but I always carry it in my wallet.
metal
Yes, I received the two "origional" keys, a "flat" key and a valet key when I purchased my Certified 2008. Also, congradulations on you new car. :)
