Need A New Muffler

I need a new muffler for my LX470. The stock one under the passenger rear seat (the rear muffler) has a small rust hole in it and it stinks and it is rattling too. So I want one that is going to be as quite as the factory one. Anyone have any suggestions?

My advice is get the factory unit, but buy it at Toyota. Lexus marks up the same part as the Landcruiser uses higher than Toyota. I'm sure Toyota can install it also. And don't go to Midas.

Bosal Muffler

has anyone ever used a Bosal muffler? I would rather not spend the $300 for the muffler if I dont have to. After all it is just a muffler, right?

Does anyone know if the land cruiser mufflers are the same part number as the LX470's or are they cross functional? Can i put a Land Cruiser muffler on a LX470?

Does anyone know if any special tinkering is required or does the rear muffler from a Land Cruiser go right on where you remove the Lexus muffler? Thanks!
