ls400_1999 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Hi Folks, Today I attemp to remove the throttle body on my LS400 1999 to clean it. However, I could not figure out how to remove out the intake air connector :-( It is one piece of hard plastic so I am affraid to pull it from the throttle body because I might break something. Can any one help me? There is a tutorial on lslx.com but that is for 1997 or early model. Thanks so much Tony
steve2006 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Hi, The plug normally has a plastic clip which you depress then pull off the connector (may be underneath) on mine I found using a small flat blade screwdriver inserted in the clip held it in while I pulled the connector off. Have a look here for clues http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/g_U_1999_LEXU...L-AEAGKA_1.html
