Not Happy
Help! I am now on my second windshield replacement for my 2009 Lexus ES 350. Is there a stress problem with this vehicle? We do get rock chips from the many freeways here in Houston, but I've never had this problem with my other Lexus (2001 RX-300). Is there a stronger glass I can get since I live near and drive in Houston?
SW03ES
Its probably just bad luck...
djspawn00
yep... sounds like bad luck... if you repair a crack or chip/bullseye a.s.a.p. you can save your windshield and lots of money.

Sir Pingalot
I had me 2nd crack on the windshield today. The first was a spot crack and I got that fixed (it tarnished the look though). Today another one chipped the shield and its now quite a big crack extending from the corner of the shield all the way almost to the middle. Any idea how much a shield costs for a Lexus ES350 2007 model? Also how much it might cost to get it changed? I stay in Houston too, this is annoying when the windshield cracks.
