Double LL Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 I've looked around the forum a lot and can't really find anything that says if the tires i want will "rub" or fit on my car. I own a 92 SC 300 and I had 205/45/17. I recently got in an accident messing up two of my rims so I"m looking for a whole set. I found a set of rims and tires i want but I don't know if they would fit. They are 225/40ZR/18. I just want to know if they will fit. I can find all the information of how it would affect my speedometer and what not, but not if they would actually fit on my car without any work being done and not have to worry about it rubbing. Break down- Current - 205/45/17 I want 225/40ZR/18 Will this fit? can anyone give me a straight up answer or give me a site that does. Thank you very much.
1KhpWrx Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 It should fit with no problems. I have 2 sc300s and probably 5 sets of wheels. I have 18x9.5 on one of them and 19x10 on the other. The only rubbing I have encountered was with the 20x8.5s that I have which was a 245/35ZR20... It only rubbed while making U-Turns. I hope this helps.
