Roger Silvey Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 My reading light works sometimes and other times it doesn't. How can I get to bulb? to check it for short. Thanks, Roger
1990LS400 Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Based on this drawing, it looks like the two little plastic lenses that cover the bulbs in the overhead map light housing are held in place by the friction of the two little tabs on each lens against the light housing -- very much like how the single lens on my 00 LS400 is held is place: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_U_2002_LEXU...KAQKA_8121.html Carefully pry the lens out by inserting a flat blade screw driver near a lens tabs. Or use a small plastic trim removal tool if you have one.

yngnbluesc430 Posted November 30, 2009 Posted November 30, 2009 that DIY site is AMAZING! It looks exaclty like the system they use at the dealership to pull up the parts and inventory! Thanks! http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/
aquanuke Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 The contacts are very poor in time they just get loose. Just bend them in a little to get a firmer contact to the bulb.
