Ebonixx
Hi, i have an SC300 and was wondering if it has a Timing Belt, or a Chain. I have almost 190,000 miles on it and I am getting a new radiator and water pump installed this week. I probably need a timing belt as well, but I need to know if it's belt or chain. Thanks Eb

JPI
On the timing belt and water pump. I would suggest that you use all the OEM parts. I see aftermarket pump give out in 15k miles. Good luck. www.jpimportz.org
Masubi
I hope you are not doing it yourself if you are asking this question. STAY AWAY!!! btw, if you are performance thinking, go with the greddy belt.
Ebonixx
thanks guys. And no way, i am not mechanically inclined when it comes to cars. Can't grasp it. I got a shop to do it all for me. And i'm having issued with the waterpump. Its making alot of noise, causing rumbling. they said its because it may have been on the shelf for a long time Or it could just be bad, which means mo money for labor! rrrrr. love my car, but jeez, seems to never end... later Eb
