Recently I had the opportunity to drive my 2008 GS 350 AWD and my wife's BMW 530xi on the same day across the same road in excess of 90mph (Yeah, I know I shouldn't but unfortunately circumstances warranted it) and confirmed something I previously only suspected. Does the GS350 experience excessive "lift" at high speed? Not enough down force air flow management to plant the front end with purpose? I had noticed a light feel in the front end after 80 or 85 mph before and figured the drifting steering was just part of the thrill.

Has anyone else experienced the drifting front end at speed? Any spoiler fixes to add additional down force and keep the front end in control?

Gee, a Lexus not handling as good as a BMW in high speed? Who would have though :)

The AWD GS is higher in the front due to the extra AWD component. It makes lowering the car very hard as well.
