Es300 Door Won't Lock Or Unlock

I have a 2002 ES300. The driver's door will not lock or unlock when you push the lock/unlock button on the fob. All the other doors respond. Any ideas what this problem could be? Thanks.

Your door lock actuator is bad. It is a pricey part, at least on the RX300 ($260) but can be repaired if you are handy. See this posting:

Do you hear anything from the door actuator when you press the lock/unlock button on the door? Or is it just when you use the remote? If neither work, check for voltage (when pressing the button) at the actuator). There could be a problem with the wiring, or connectors. Do not assume anything.
