Michael_Lee
I want to play MY CDs. Should I, or Not?
zeta
it shouldn't hurt your cd changer at all. if it's written as an audio cd, it should be fine. me personally, i use Nero Burning Rom. it's a great program. i've never tried Roxio. Maruzo
Don't use nero unless you're simply doing a disc to disc copy. If you want to transfer mp3 files into wave files and then burn onto black cdrs, i suggest using winamp to output the wave files first, then use nero to burn the wave files into a music cd. If you just click and drop the mp3 files into nero's program, you'll end up getting hickups and hesitations in your recording. as far as using cdrs in your changer, there's only an issue of playability depending on the brand of medias you choose. but nowadays, pretty much every brand of cdr media out there is made to be compatible on standard cd players, and that would include your lexus factory cd changer as well. btw, does anyone know how to burn songs from different music cds onto a single cdr? zeta
actually i've used nero to burn music cd's for years. it has worked 100% of the time, with no skipping. i don't know where your skipping came from, but mine haven't skipped ever. Paddy Wagon
I regularly burn and rip CDs for my RX. All brands. I add no labels, just mark them with a Sharpie. I've used EZ-CD v2.5 through v5.02. No probs.
