Rear Spoler - Attachmend Method

Recommended Posts

Hello,

New member here, looking very seriously at a GS400. Wondered how the rear spoilers are attached on these cars, are there holes in the trunk or is it some type of adhesive? Thanks for any assistance.

Jeff

Jeff,

I am assuming that your looking for a car to buy or a spoiler? I have both for sale. My car does not have the spoiler but I have one to match the color of the car.

The spoilers are bolted on. See the followoing link..

Thanks - the car I'm looking at has the spoiler and it has new Lexus chrome wheels. I am most likely going to be starting a sales position this summer and I'm worried the car is actually too flashy. I am trying to figure out what it would take to possibly remove the spoiler and swap out the shiny chrome rims for something more subtle. I know I would be going in the opposite direction as most people but it probably be a smart thing for me to do. Sounds like removing just the spoiler is probably not an option without swapping our the entire trunk lid. Thanks again for the quick response.
