Cuz I had that, and I just put some lube on the actual "mechanical rotator" (for lack of the correct tem) ath the base of the wiper arm, and it fixed it. It does sometimes return, so end up doing it every 8 mos or so...

So they can't do anything with them. How strange... Even ES350 sounds quiet... I will call the Lexus HQ and ask them directly about this issue. I will post again Justin

This is the final official reply from LEXUS. The noise coming from wiper motors is NOT ABNORMAL. Therefore, there will be no repair or replacement at this time. And they gave me a free maintenance. How funny... noise is not abnormal... just like engine failure is not abnormal... it's not design defect or manufacturing defect. What is it then? well... I am just gonna turn the music loud when it rains. very disappointed...
