  1. Lexus of Englewood defraud me and my wife and sold us non-genuine parts and services of Lexus. 1. False promise – Financing person promised to provide a body protection service for appx. $700. I believed that the work would be incorrectly done by the dealer. However, later I found that the work was done by a third party. I requested a partial refund, but they refused. I detrimentally replied on the person’s promise and paid large sum of money, which is substantially more than the reasonable market price for the identical jobs. It is a unjust enrichment. 2. Deceiving Sales practice – My wife bought a new car from them. She paid about $3,000 for the entertainment package. When we picked up the car, the system was not factory installed. They NEVER informed me of the third party product. We would not have bought the system if we knew that the dealer would put a third party product. Based on the entertainment product manufacturer, Rosen, the unit does not fit in my wife’s new vehicle. Englewood Lexus must have mutilated, without out authorization, the vehicle. We believed that we were buying a genuine Lexus product, but the dealer intentionally concealed and defrauded us. One of the headset is NOT working already.
  2. Hi members I have a 2007 LS460. The low tire pressure warning was on so I brought the car in. The reading was 38, 42, 31, 31, 31. The top one (as far as I know it's the spare tire) triggered the warning signal. My dealer checked and told me that they leveled up. Then the display showed 44, 49, 40, 40, 40. I thought the proper pressure level is 32. They put more air instead fixing the electrical system. Shall I drive it as is or ask them to fix again? Thanks Justin
  3. After putting Continental DWS tires, cornering, ride and noise got really better.
  4. It's an old post, but I decide to post my experience. I had the same problem. It was real pain. After purchasing tire pressure gauges and checking tires many tires, I finally came to the conclusion that the sensor was wrong. I brought my car to the dealer and told them that one of the tire pressure sensor is giving me wrong reading. They did not believe me. Guess what? The sensor was malfunctioning. I put too much air to turn the light off. It was 10 psi off. The dealer replaced the sensor for free. Maybe you should check.
  5. It did for me, but only temporarily... Its most def not the blades... its not a sqeak as much as a sqeal.... I agree, its mechanical for sure. My dealer examined the motors and concluded that they are in normal condition... So they can't do anything with them. How strange... Even ES350 sounds quiet... I will call the Lexus HQ and ask them directly about this issue. I will post again Justin OK. This is the final official reply from LEXUS. The noise coming from wiper motors is NOT ABNORMAL. Therefore, there will be no repair or replacement at this time. And they gave me a free maintenance. How funny... noise is not abnormal... just like engine failure is not abnormal... it's not design defect or manufacturing defect. What is it then? well... I am just gonna turn the music loud when it rains. very disappointed...
  6. Thank you. Lexus should make a laminated card of this. jim meyers Exellente!!
  7. The air filter in the trunk is only available in the LWB version equipped with separate a/c in the back. The other one is in the glove compartment and two under the hood. Once you replace the filters, simply press the AC OFF button while pushing the ignition switch with your foot off the brake to reset the AC reminder. Make sure you hold the AC OFF button for at least 4 seconds and the system will reset the reminder. For some reason, I cannot get the system to reset and I still get the change filter warning. I am assuming the AC off button is the button labeled AC. Hi Can someone give the part numbers? Thanks Justin

  9. are you talking about a slight sqeek... Cuz I had that, and I just put some lube on the actual "mechanical rotator" (for lack of the correct tem) ath the base of the wiper arm, and it fixed it. It does sometimes return, so end up doing it every 8 mos or so... It's mechanical noise for sure. I think it's motor noise. I will put some lube, WD-40?, and see. Thanks Justin
  10. I hear annoying noise when using wipers. Is it normal?
  11. Just did a 30k service on my LS430, Charge was $559, Change of all cabin filters, oil, and under hood filters.. Some other things, and full scan of error codes. Just the scan is $85 at the local Toyota dealer. Loaner for 6 hours, ( got a massage, on my dime) and a day trip to the dealer 200+ miles from my home. Nice day, Nice car, Nice trip, Only thing that bothers me is the sign in the cashier office that said "Labor $129.95/HR" They did tell me, that the local Toyota dealer can do the in between oil and filter changes.. The one thing I got was a 4cyl Camry loaner, and will never consider buying one of those weak running cars. I think I also got a bit of an education while listening to the other customers sitting in the lounge. Funny what you hear when people don't think you are awake. (that massage was relaxing) LOL I just changed engine oil with filter at a local repair shop for $100 + tips. I paid for 10 qts of Mobile 1 5W-30s and generic oil filter. It looks fairly easy to do it. Maybe I want to try next time. BTW, the filter cap is made out of plastic (?). so you need a right tool to open it if you don't want to break it. I saved about $300 and I'm buying two Miura Wedges. Justin
  12. Hi all I am a DIY guy. Now I want to replace cabin filters and air filter for my '07 LS 460. Do I need two different filter for the cabin? Where are they? One behind the front compartment and the other one in the back somewhere? Can I change the air filter? Thanks in advance Justin
  13. It's time for 15k oil change and maintenance for my 2007 LS460, and the fee they charge is over $400... Not that I can't afford that, but considering what they do I think it's too excessive. Other mom n pop shops will do the same for under $150... It's Lexus... what can actually go wrong?
