2upFZ1
I guess he gave up on us. I see two Meguiars Gold Class Wax listed, for two different prices. Why? I do have a question about maybe using a leveler on our Lexus. Looking at the paint reflected in a HP light, I see that the clearcoat isn't exectly glass-smooth. It's clean & smooth, but not the perfect glass look. Almost looks like the surface of an orange. Hard to explain I guess. But would the levelers help "level" the clearcoat out? SW03ES
Its called orange peel actually, its a byproduct of the painting process on many cars. Only way to deal with it is to wetsand the finish, and you'd be removing paint and thinning the overall paint layer. Not worth it.
2upFZ1
I thought that's what it was called. I just wanted to know if there was something out there that would smooth the clearcoat out some. I'm not interested enough to break out the sander. Even with 3000 grit. !Removed! that noise.
SW03ES
Nope, nothing you can do but wetsand and that is not something for a novice...
2upFZ1
Hey Nick, I have less than 1/4 bottle of the EX-P left. I see that Poorboy's wants $17.95 for their 16oz bottle, if you ustill have yours, how much you want for it?
