I've got a '93 LS 400 with the stock pioneer sound system, which to my knowledge has no easy cheap way to integrate an auxiliary jack e.g Ipod.

I would like to splice into the cd wires that go to the amp, but I can't find where the amp is. I've looked under the cd changer, under the glove compartment, and under the passenger seat.

any ideas?

Thats the guide I was originally following, but there isn't an amp under my passenger seat vent/carpeting.

maybe there just isn't one?

I've decided to wire where the cd changer goes into the head unit. just have to figure out how to remove the head unit

thanks I didn't know it was so easy.

after cutting tons of wires and soldering for way too long I decided that it wasn't worth messing up a plug and !Removed! the whole system

I couldn't find anyone with the correct pinouts
