Double Din Installation, Is300 2001, Need Help On Wiring

so im gonna get this one

and a double din Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD

is there a wiring harness or do i need to splice into the factory wires? i want to keep everything stock(amp and speakers), and just change the headunit.

i tried searching but i can't find any info about this

You won't be able to use the stock amp. Your going to have to run new wires from the speakers directly to the head and bypass the amp, or get a new amp. The amp has a 12v switch. I've only seen 2v and 4v switches on most aftermarket preamps. And be careful with running directly to the stock speakers, as thier only 2 ohm impedence, and most aftermarket is 4 ohm also. You can do it, just be a bit more careful as you can blow the speakers alot easier.

Also, whatever you do, use painters masking tape on the side edges of the center console dash first. That plack plastic is like a rubberized coating and it scratches really easy.
