LS400-99 Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 Hi all, First I am a new user in your forum and I would like to thank you all for this usefull forum. Then, I need your help in my LS400-99 problem. Problem description and History: I was driving my LS400 slowly and suddenly a stone(or tough rock ) hit the oxegen sensor (or Exhaust Gas Sensor ) which is located in the front-left side of the car and specifically attached in the exhaust from one end (the sensor) of the cable and the other end is attached in (??? I do not know what is called ). Result of the problem: The result of this problem lead first in destroing the oxegeng sensor. After that the car accelater can not exceed 3 and the speed can not exceed 140km/h. So can any one help me on this? Thanks
LS400-99 Posted February 12, 2009 Author Posted February 12, 2009 Hi Again, I forgot to tell you what I did to solve the problem(which is still until now not solved) I took it to the technician and he did the following: 1. The Oxegen sensor was replaced. 2. The air mass filter was replaced. 3. The fuel filter was replaced. And still the problem is not yet solved

Bali26 Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 Try is any warning light on? Any diagnostic codes? something wrong with the fuel filter?
SKperformance Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 was the senor replaced with a universal or an oem one as the wiring harness is probably broken as well.
