Boronos56 Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Hi, I'm a new member. I just landed a beautiful 97 SC 300 and love it !! I am in the process of repairing the little things that I can do (somewhat) I have a great Sony remote controlled CD changer that I stole from my R/V when I sold it. I want to replace it with the changer in the SC , which is scrap. I have succesfully removed the changer from it's mount. Now the questions I have; What is the electronic box located below the changer? Can I remove it also? All I need to install my Sony changer is a full time 12v feed, a ignition 12v feed, and a ground. There are 13 wires feeding into the old changer. Does anyone know which ones I can eliminate completly (clipping) without !Removed! up the rest of the radio's functions? Which ones may have the hot feeds (wire color) that I need to wire up my Sony ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. EzED
Boronos56 Posted February 10, 2009 Author Posted February 10, 2009 That electronic box is the amp. Thanks for ypur input. Now I'm wondering if the amp is for the changer or the radio.
